This notice describes how Casa Romagnosi S.r.l., with registered office at Piazzale Berzieri 3, 43039 Salsomaggiore Terme (PR), Italy, data controller, processes the personal data of users of the website hotelromagnosi.it, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. 1. Data processed and purposes

a) Availability request and contact form

Data collected: first name, last name, email, phone, dates of stay, number of guests, room type, notes and message. Purpose: answering the request, checking availability and managing any reservation. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Providing the data is necessary: without it we cannot reply. Messages are sent by email to the hotel front desk through a mail service configured by the controller and kept for the time needed to handle the request and, in case of a reservation, for the tax and public security obligations required by law.

b) Browsing data

The IT systems that run the website (web server) record in technical logs some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the internet: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, response code, browser. Purpose: security and proper functioning of the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f). Retention: maximum 30 days, unless needed to investigate offences.

c) Anonymous statistics

The site uses Umami, statistics software installed on servers of the controller's technical provider in the European Union. Umami uses no cookies, does not store the IP address and does not build profiles: it only records aggregated data (page views, referrer, device type) that cannot identify the user. It is therefore not personal data; we mention it for transparency.

d) Google map

The map on the Location and Contacts pages is loaded from Google only if the user clicks "Show the map". At that moment Google Ireland Ltd may receive the IP address and set its own cookies, according to its privacy policy. Until the click no data is sent to Google.

2. Recipients

Data may be processed by authorised staff of the controller and by providers appointed as processors (art. 28 GDPR): the provider of hosting and maintenance of the site and the provider of the email sending service. Data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties for commercial purposes. The site's servers are located in the European Union.

3. Rights of the data subject

At any time the user may request access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and object to processing (arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@hotelromagnosi.it. The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

4. Minors

The site is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.

5. Changes

This notice may be updated; the date of the last change is shown at the top. Please check it periodically.
